Ian McIsaac

Educated at Oxford University, Ian began his career at Grindlays Bank where he gained wide international banking experience. In 1987, he joined the World Corporation Group at Citibank in London as Vice President and was responsible for managing the bank's global relationships for a portfolio of large multinational clients. Ian then specialised in property finance and became the finance director and managing partner of a leading UK property consultancy.

Ian has been designing and delivering training for companies and financial institutions on a broad range of finance and strategy issues since 1993. He has specialised in financial management and credit and has delivered training on open programmes and bespoke courses for major financial institutions and corporates. He has also successfully managed large donor-funded training and institution-building projects in Eastern Europe and the former Soviet Union.

As well as an experienced classroom instructor, he has a strong interest in distance learning and has advised e-learning companies on content and instructional design. He is the author of several books on credit and financial management. Ian has worked extensively outside the UK and has been a regular visitor to Hong Kong and the Middle East.
